HomePrivacy Policy
Welcome to SIP My Cards. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and what we deliberately never ask for — like your CVV, PIN, or full card number. By using our service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what's needed to power a recommendation:

  • Account details — your mobile number (used to sign in via OTP), and optionally your name and email.
  • Card metadata — the issuing bank, card name or nickname, network (Visa/Mastercard/etc.), and last four digits, so we can show you which of your cards a recommendation refers to.
  • Purchase details you enter — the amount, category, and merchant you tell us before a purchase, used only to calculate which of your cards earns the most.
  • Usage & device data — standard technical logs (IP address, browser/device type, pages visited) used for security and to keep the service running reliably.

2. What We Never Store

We never ask for or store your full card number, CVV, PIN, or one-time passcode (OTP). Sign-in happens entirely through your mobile carrier's OTP flow — we never see or keep the code itself, only the confirmation that it was verified.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To calculate and show you card recommendations (Card Genius) and answer questions (Ask SIP).
  • To maintain your account, saved cards, and recommendation history.
  • To send OTPs and essential account/security notifications.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and keep the platform secure.
  • To improve our reward-rate database and recommendation accuracy over time.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that keep SIP My Cards running — for example, cloud hosting and SMS/OTP delivery — under agreements that limit them to using it solely to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SIP My Cards, our users, or the public.

5. Data Security

Card metadata and account data are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to the systems and personnel that need it to operate the service. Because we never collect your CVV, PIN, or full card number in the first place, there is nothing of that kind for a breach to expose.

6. Your Rights & Choices

You can review and update your profile at any time from your account settings. You can remove a saved card from your account whenever you like. You can also permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings — this immediately and irreversibly removes your profile, saved cards, and recommendation history.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, and delete it promptly after you close your account, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

SIP My Cards is not directed at, and is not knowingly used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll update the “Last Updated” date above whenever we do, and post material changes here before they take effect.
